You can't compete with Chelsea, they have brought (bought off) one of the top management teams going, if not the best at thier job there is, Kenyon, JM, Arnesen and whoever else they want etc, they will now buttemble the team to suit, with unlimited funding, the only thing missing will be team ethic, team ethos, will all the players be happy etc, etc.
Other teams will have to compete on being a team better, which is where good, strong management can overcome all the money in the world, putting them pieces of the jigsaw in the right slots will be taxing for any manager, along with getting the best from youth systems & scouts.
I doubt Figo would add anything to what we currently have, and could easily upset-upstage our other Spaniards, still, July 01 is just around the corner, and who knows what the boss has up his sleeve.
If we could compete this year, without being left behind, again, then I will be happy, and to finish above them next door, and them just down the road will be even sweeter.
