Owen's unpleasant woman in 100 mph Geordie Grand Theft Auto

The pregnant wife of Newcastle United and England striker Michael Owen has been stopped by traffic police for allegedly speeding at more than 100mph. Louise Owen, 25, was behind the wheel driving her Range Rover Vogue, when she was stopped on a 70mph dual carriageway near Ponteland, Northumberland. Northumbria Police said a summons would be issued in due course. Owen joined Newcastle United earlier this season to the delight of fans, after leaving Real Madrid. A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "A Range Rover was stopped on the A696 Woolsingham by-pbutt at 1145 BST on Friday 21 October. "A 25-year-old woman was reported for speeding and will be summonsed in due course." Owen is in the process of relocating his family to the North East, according to a statement on the Newcastle United website. It said reports that he had bought a helicopter to commute to the training ground from his home in Lower Soughton Hall near Mold, North Wales, were "factually incorrect", adding that the helicopter was bought for commercial reasons. -- Every single SU and FCUM member is now an enemy of Manchester United, and the Conservative Party.
