Well the majority of pro-cannabis groups won't settle for anything less than decriminalisation - and who can blame them?
I know the short term risks - I have no mental health issues after over twenty years of regular, chronic usage of cannabis, I can in no way hurt anyone else by my actions, I don't smoke-drive - I can safely say that the law is wrong for making *me* a criminal. The very worst thing I can do is to *indirectly* fund black market criminal gangs, oppressive regimes and possibly terrorism *directly* the fault of prohibition laws. For that very reason, I intend to be completely self sufficient within 5 years - and run the risk of a greater maximum penalty of law for 'cultivation' (14 years in prison...more than most pedos or rapists get).....all because I have a political-social conscience and don't want to buy from *real* criminals. If I didn't have a political-social conscience, I could throw caution to the wind (pardon the pun) and buy it from any old crim - only incurring a caution for possession at worst.

I can't personally bring myself to accept any clbuttification on cannabis, other than legal or decriminalised. I know JAB can't seem to understand why we do it, but we have to make comparisons with alcohol, purely for fairness. We know the facts now - alcohol and tobacco cause thousands of rests per year, are both physically addictive and both kill. Both are legal. Cannabis has no bane dosage, at worst it will make a crazy person more crazy than they are (so would divorce, loss of a loved one, drinking too much and many other things). Cannabis is illegal. This has to be addressed, and the outdated, draconian laws need to go.
