Far far less than people who drink. I've never known pot heads fight or shout abuse at people, for example.

That is the fault of the law not alowing drug tests for drivers. Somthing they should do.

Being on drugs while driving should be treated the same as drink driving.

I never said there were no negative effects. I said your sugestion that soft drugs *usualy* lead downward into crime and despair are utter nonsense. There are problems with drugs, just as there are with drink.

So have I. I know somone who was a injection user in her youth, even after 15 years of being clean she still doesnt feel free of it. I know of it even if it is only what she has told me. I had another friend online who lost one of his close freinds to injection, the guy couldn't take it any more and toped himself. It is a f***ing horible drug.

The problem is Simon not that you have seen differant things but that you draw conclusions from tiny instances of anecdotal evidence. A handfull of incidents you have heard of in your local area does not even come close to being enough to start saying "soft drugs usualy lead to hard drugs". And if you read the link i gave you then you might begin to grasp how complex it all is. But even so it seems the amount of people who graduate from pot to herion is tiny, and it is just as plausible that they would have done so anyway.

That may be true but it doesnt make your conclusions correct. For example, had you ever considered that thousands of people in your area smoke pot, they don't move on to injection, and they dont do it in your face so you simply have not seen them? How many pot heads came in your gas station to buy rizlas & ciggys? 10 or 20 people a day? Did you even notice them? How come most of them didn't graduate to injection and come back months later with a knife?
