Don't you see? He was a victim of prohibition! If we had decriminalised status for cannabis, like in Holland, he would've got his weed from 'Coffeeshops' - places where if a injection or crack (or any hard drug) dealer so much as stepped over the threshold, the police would be called and he would be banged up in jail (after having the poo kicked out of him by the Dutch Coffeeshop proprietor...no doubt). Prohibition, which *you* support, is the very *reason* that happened. Do you not see that? This is what the Dutch realised back in the 60's. Keep the soft drug use separate from the hard drug use, monitor it, know that teenagers are not going to be confronted by people offering them other, harder drugs. It makes perfect sense, and anyone who doesn't see that is a stubborn, thick eejit. The Dutch took the same stance with prostitution. They monitor it. The girls are safe from pimps (the only winners in this particular prohibition), they are checked and monitored for STD's - and they have far less cases of rape, liquidate and AIDS within their prostitute community - just like they have far less cannabis smoking teenagers (tell a kid it's illegal, they will do it all the more) *and* hard drug addicts in their population. These are cold, hard *facts*. Woooosh.
