I can guarentee we're all pissed off now, with Chelski winning. So, this is the post to get poo off your chest.
WHY WHY WHY did we try and defend our lead for 89 minutes??????? That is the most stupid tactic to play, against any team. Also, it was the most boring thing to watch as a Liverpool FC supporter, to see your side defending the whole match.
WHY did we bring on Baros for Morientes??? Why not for Garcia, who I thought for a minute was actually playing for Chelski with all the loose pbuttes. We needed to attack more, but Benitez wanted to defend our lead for the whole f***in match. I don't understand.
On to Gerrard. It was very disappointing to see our captain score an excellent goal, but unforunately in the wrong net. His head went down for the rest of the match, much like Baros's. I thought Gerrard had a bad game. I think he will definitely leave in the summer. Baros and Garcia played crap as well.
I just am confused as to why we defended the whole match. and made defensive substitutions?!?!! They were all over us throughout the entire game. It was inevitable that we were going to concede.
On to the positives. Dudek and our defence had a stormer. Well done lads. Nunez looked much better than usual. Also, Riise's goal was spectacular. We started off the match very positively, but then let Chelski dominate us.
