Found this article. Interesting. ====== (Fan's Say:) If you think that a Liverpool fan must only admire his own manager, you
are wrong. Rafa has done an admirable job in his first season but plaudits aside, he has still a lot of work to do. There are many great managers in football but 2 of them which I admire are Jol and Wenger.
Jol was a virtual unknown when he took over from Santini but he has revamped the Tottenham squad into a fashionable outfit which habours real hopes of a title challenge this season. What I like best about him
is his focus on developing and bringing in the best young talent across
the globe. What's more, he has not spent the big bucks like Chelsea but
has still managed to bring in several top young players in the game. What he has yet to do, however, is to start churning out the right results.
Wenger is, in my mind, one of the most brilliant managers in the modern
game. One area in which he earns my respect is his amazing ability in bringing out the best in his players. He is also a very smart man in money management of players. I still remember how he bought Anelka for half a million pounds but sold him for 23.5 million pounds just a few seasons later. He also bought Henry for just 10 million pounds but the lad is worth at least 50 million pounds now. He always seems to be able
to make a profit from buying and selling players, while not spending over the top in bringing in good players.
Can Rafa be great as well? I sincerely hope so... ======
