We seem to have been collecting more yellows in recent games but acknowledged, we're still near the top of the fair play league. You're also right about the injuries, we only have 2 out at the moment. Maybe I was still wound up after the Bolton game when I posted those comments.

The dissolution of the FAC into the 3rd most important domestic 'trophy', i.e. behind the EPL and then the "2nd-4th in the EPL" spots, is sad but inevitable given the huge difference between the UEFA and CL competitions. The only way this could change is if either the FA swapped the 4th place slot with the FAC winners, or UEFA slimmed down the CL and better balanced the money between the two competitions. Can't see the clubs voting for either of these though.

I still want to see a primarily reserve team play against Luton, and if we suffer another Palace-Burnley type result, I won't be too upset. A 2nd place (realistically) finish in the league has to be the priority, along with another good CL campaign. Domestic cups are what you should aim to win when you building up to be competitive in Europe and the league. I'd say we're above that level now.
