His workrate is excellent now, he is showing a desire to recover the ball and close down, some of his touches let him down though.
6 prem games won in a row, nearly a full squad to choose from, life is mentally good atm.
He get a very well deserved round of applause, despite me being 3000 miles away from Anfield!!!!!
Should of scored, had two great chances and decided placement over power each time (i've no problem with that). He's starting to approach a good level of fitness again and his workrate was pretty decent. I think he'll pop up with a goal before long as he is getting into decent positions. Looks low on confidence though when wanting to go past a defender.
We resembled an excellent pbutting side today who wanted to attack the opposition (Valencia were a counter attacking team when Rafa was in charge), there was no instance where the ball was pbutted back to the keeper at all if i remember correctly. Some play was long, some was short pbutting but almost all of it was at a rapid pace.
Best Liverpool performance over 90 minutes i can think of for years.
