The muslim clothing at the school may seem a minor concession, but it's seen by some as the thin end of the wedge. With current birth and immigration...

Well he has to score sometime. Why not start tomorrow? Come on Peter you can do it;)

Mark Platt 04 November 2005 Rafael Benitez insists he's happy with the form of Peter Crouch and is confident his much-publicised goal drought will end soon. Crouch, a summer signing from Southampton during the summer, has yet to score in a Liverpool shirt and the critics have been queuing up to write him off after just 13 games for the Reds.

The England international will be hoping to for another chance to break his duck on Saturday when Liverpool travel to one of his many former club's Aston Villa.

Benitez would not reveal whether the big man will retain his place in the starting eleven at Villa Park but he's given the striker his full backing.

He says: "Of course I would like to see him scoring goals but I am pleased with how he's been playing and I will support him.

"I analysed the statistics of our games the other day and they show that he very rarely gives the ball away. He offers us an alternative and the most important thing is that he works well for the team.

"It can be difficult for a striker when he's not scoring goals but Peter's confidence is okay and I know he will score soon."
