Owen, who claimed injury in the first match and did not play further, thereby preventing England from replacing him throughout the rest of World Cup 2006. Lampard who had a disgraceful World Cup. Ferdinand who was replaced in one match by Sol Campbell, for playing lousy against weak opposition.
The question is: were these debts with UK Organized Crime really to purchase Bets, OR to purchase what soccer players who cheat might really Need: illegal performance enhancing drugs like Undetectable Steroids and Human Growth Hormone ?
Undetectable Steroids are like an Arms Race. Once they are discovered and a test established to recognize that variation on the molecule, then another molecule with the same steroid effect must be designed. Organized Crime loves continuing criminal enterprises like that, and are always willing to help. For a price. And the price here is for the players to sell out their country in the World Cup event so Organized Crime Gambling interests can make a killing betting against their country, scooping up the money of British gamblers who bet For their country.
When Colombia's Andres Escobar in World Cup 1994 scored an Own Goal for the US in their group match, he was liquidateed when he returned home. His countrymen clearly did not think this was an honest mistake. What will Brits do, even those Brits addicted to gambling sports betting, when they find out that Rooney & Co sold out their country for bribes ?
