Last season, early doors, we lost to arse, scum & tscum all at home.

We have two of them at home in the next two weeks., and the other was postponed.

So, scum have Keane, Heinze, Neville & Brown all ruled out already.

Seeing as how we surprised Real B in midweek, with team selection, reckon we could do some of the same?

About time we had a decent home win against scum actually, would round off a good week.

# Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson:

"The Manchester United-Liverpool game is such a great platform for players to perform.

"The atmosphere at Anfield is always going to be electric, just as it is at Old Trafford.

BIG-MATCH FACTS

# LIVERPOOL face Manchester United in a battle of Premiership heavyweights at Anfield, with the European champions seeking their 50th League victory over the Red Devils. The high noon Sunday showdown brings together two of the five remaining clubs with unbeaten Premiership records going into this weekend's fixtures.

# The Merseysiders have a watertight defence in the League with clean sheets in all three games to date. However those matches against Middlesbrough (a), Sunderland (h) and Spurs (a) have produced a total of just one goal, yet the Reds boast the two highest scoring Premiership players in the country. Steven Gerrard's seven goals and Djibril Cisse's six have all come from European competitions. After six qualifiers, Rafael Benitez' side began their defence of the Champions League in earnest on Tuesday night by holding on to a creditable 1-2 win at Real Betis in their first group match.

# The Reds have lost five of their last six Premiership meetings with United, and were 'doubled' by them last season, losing 2-1 at Old Trafford - the last time Liverpool suffered a Premiership defeat on home turf. Wayne Rooney took advantage of a blunder by Liverpool keeper Jerzy Dudek to score the winner for the visitors, reduced to ten men after the dismissal of Wes Brown for a second bookable offence.

# MANCHESTER UNITED go to Anfield, on the back of Wednesday's goalless draw with Villarreal in Spain and Wayne Rooney's red card, pursuing a fifth consecutive away victory in the Premiership. Joey Barton put paid to their 100% start to the season last Saturday when Manchester City held United to a one all draw in the derby clash at Old Trafford.

# Sir Alex Ferguson's side have won three and drawn one of their opening four League matches, and Ruud van Nistelrooy has scored in all four games.
