No, last season you did perform better than us and nobody can take that away from you - it's all there in the record books. What I am saying is that last season was one of those freak seasons that happen from time to time - it's what makes football (and life) interesting.

It's about quality - in the free market quality players do cost more but that is more of a side issue, it's the ability not the price tag that is important.

One more time for you (seeing as you have a short attention span) I did NOT argue with the fact that you finished above us last season but it must be put into context. You always get teams performing way better than they should (you can think of many 'david vs goliath' contests), that's why football can be so unpredictable and is one of the reasons I love the game. It just so happens that you managed to overachieve for a good part of the season through grit and 'character' (whatever that means).
Yes we are NOT the best team in Europe - I never said we were, but we ARE champions of europe - another fact that will be recorded. Like your whole, season we overperfomed in that competition. However if you look at the individual games we played nobody can begrudge US winning the thing. Things like needing to score three goals against olympiakos in the second half and doing so, our 6-2 aggregate demolition of Leverkusen, that 1st 30 mins vs juve at home, not conceding in 270+ minutes vs juve and chelsea and last but not least the greatest comback ine champions league history in the final. Again you repeat utter pooe saying something like 'you very poor argument, it has no meaning and is used by trolls who know that they are wrong but can't possibly back it up.
