Tactics 3966True. We all know about these sides who do well early but fade as the season goes on, but I...
They were pretty much a lot better, yes.
Point is, that isn't the first time they do that. They've been doing a lot of that this season. They may not be creating 15 chances in every game, but they seem to score a lot when they first get the chance. Like yesterday.
Game got away from usI felt we had a pretty solid first half, kept the ball well, although the one up front didn't work...
I'm sort of panicking. Theoretically(!), we could've had 18 points. We have 7. That's pretty scary, if you ask me.
Probably not. But a statement like that is completely meaningless. I can say "what if we win the next ten", and it doesn't matter. I could also say to the missus "if we win the lottery next weekend, I will take you to Rome and all will be forgotten" - but there is one single flaw with that kind of thinking: It's purely based on something that hasn't happened. And, since anything can happen in the future (except Chelsea losing, that is, and Garcia keeping possession), you can't really make much of an argument of it.
In terms of finishing second, I wouldn't say it is. You can't drop 11 points in six games and expect to finish second.
In terms of finishing fourth, it's too early, yes.
