Merlin Mad Dog Merlin It's the clash of the so called 'big 4' of the English Premiership on Sunday. Which, in you honest opinion, is the only team that is not thoroughly ashamed as it should be, of it's English player contingent for this English Premiership clash? -- Merlin -=Manchester United - The Religion=- Players come and go and we have just moved to a new stadium which costs a lot of money, property is expensive in London you know. We have to sign players who we consider value for money within our budget. I'll tell you something though, we are not owned lock stock and barrel by some Yankee baseball team owner who would never have kicked a football in his life. Nor are we owned by a Russian gangster, but at least he is pbuttionate about football AND his team. The Arsenal, the home of football and an institution. The Establishment. Are you happy that the 'home of English football' often fields 11 foreign players? Don't get too carried away with ownership cries either. -- Merlin -=Manchester United - The Religion=-

I would like to see a couple of English players in the team but its not up to me. I would obviously like England International players to be in my team as anyone would. I would never criticize Arsene Wengers selection of players but I would have liked to see young British players come up from the youth set up as Cole for example or Giggs at Utd. I did not like it when we got rid of Matthew Upson nor David Bentley, but it was AW's call.

It is quite commen these day's for people to move between countries to work, I have done so in the past myself. Having a team of overseas players does not really bother me and London is a very cosmopolitan city.
