John Porcella I would like to see a couple of English players in the team Why? Surely the nationalities of the players are irrelevant? What is relevant is having players good enough to win things for the club! After all, change the word 'English' to 'black' or 'white' or 'Church of England' to see how this fixation on nationality is offensive and pointless. but its not up to me. I would obviously like England International players to be in my team as anyone would. No, I would not! My criterion for players is that they help the team to be better, their pbuttport, religion and skin colour being wholly irrelevant. I would never criticize Arsene Wengers selection of players Why not? Do you consider him infallible? but I would have liked to see young British players come up from the youth set up as Cole for example or Giggs at Utd. I did not like it when we got rid of Matthew Upson nor David Bentley, but it was AW's call. Then you are critical of his selections! Upson and Bentley were not up to it. It is quite commen these day's "commen" and "day's"? Eh? for people to move between countries to work, I have done so in the past myself. So why be critical of Arsenal, or any club, taking on foreign workers? Having a team of overseas players does not really bother me Then why do you keep telling us you want English players and make the silly proposition that anybody else would too, which is nonsense. Make up your mind! -- MESSAGE ENDS. John Porcella

Look to be honest I am holding on to nostalgia, call me a romantic fool if you want. It is my own opinion that I would like to see a couple of English players, it is neither here nor there as we don't have any. I have no problem whatsoever with anybody's race, colour or ethnicity, my own father is not from this country.
