LOL can you suggest a better place? ( In fact it's NW London)
4 miles from Arsenal, 5 miles from Spurs, 3 miles from QPR, 7 from Chelsea and Fulham, 12 from Palace and Charlton, same for W Ham ,not forgetting places like Orient,Brentford, Millwall, all visited regularly
Hardly ever missed the Liverpool game at any of them for over 50 years, but still a football fan first. You might find it hard to understand that Ren. It is a person who has his favourite but can still look forward to seeing Man U play as they did a couple of seasons back, or Arsenal recently,or Chelsea now, or Spurs earlier, or Derby and Leeds when they were at their best.
All enjoyed without having to find silly reasons to dislike a team or it's supporters (although not always their style of play, maybe) or to invent reasons for doing so.
A touch of objectivity brings its rewards in greater enjoyment. I may not have always been like this. There might have been a time when, like you, I thought Man U were scum? If so, I gave such crap up before I left junior school.
Regards,
Les
