Hardly bullpoo Ren. Is it not true that supporters tend to crow greatest when they have something to boast about and I have no doubt that a few seasons back Man U fans were as insufferable as some around here since the EC, which is exactly the main point I was making. The groups are mainly made up of people looking for gloating points, mostly childish, immature and often inaccurate and the result of their ridiculous fantasies, that success somehow rubs off onto them and brings kudos into their drab lives, has resulted in the finest game in the world becoming a social embarrbuttment.
This name calling, envy, dislike, hatred has now produced the only major sport in the world where fans have to be segregated as the police know that in many games it is asking for trouble to allow them to mix. It costs extra millions to police at home and abroad where they will need to have riot police on duty for a sporting event...A GAME for f*** sake! This attitude of dislike, and the contortions fans go to establish some sort of collective identity into the character of thousands of opposing fans in order to dislike them, is ignorant beyond description. You are all the same fellers! The Kop and Stretford end and the shed are identical and the difference lies, not in the characters of each group of supporters, but just in an accident of birth or parentage mainly. Fact is, if Man U are scum then so are we.
This,,,"they are different" stupidity is identical to racial intolerance, there is not one atom of difference, and it has already caused enough trouble. It lies at the root of how many fans rests? How many riots in foreign town centres and grounds? A minority?...yes...probably true, but fed on this pathetic and so easily accepted crap that "they are different and we are better" it's the first step.
Bullpoo?,,,,if only it was,
