Ok , I can see that Bolt doesn't trust a legally binding contract drawn up by a barrister. Fair enough, but having worked in the legal profession as well as well as the music business for years, I can honestly say that it would be a binding contract. If the contact is broken it could mean a lengthy court battle with a lot of legal fees that could run into more than the debt anyway.

£120.00 straight off to issue proceedings over £1000, which will include interest at a rate of 8% from the time of the contract to a final hearing date. £150 + VAT for the barristers fee on the day of any subsequent hearing, not to mention the legal fees involved for phone calls, letters (£95 a letter) and preparing a case for court at approximately £155 per hour spent on the case)

I would say that the contract idea is a little risky unless the money is fronted in the first place.

I don't know how to place a bet like this on-line but I think it's safe to say that Ted has the money now and Bolt doesn't. IMO if you haven't got the money to gamble with you shouldn't make the bet in the first place. I know this from a regular poker school I play in where if you haven't got the money up front you don't play (or lose kneecaps if you do play and don't tell anyone you aint got the money) They're good guys really and the baseball bats are usually for show, but this method works a treat. :-)

The bet
Look below all you bernie or ted is email them and tell them to set it up a few emails back and forth and the bet will be there thenn all you both...

Suffice to say I can't see this bet happening but I must admit, it's f***ing hilarious watching this unfold.

Come on guys, sort it out one way or another as I think the coming season in this NG will have so much more of an edge to it.
