Pray tell. How do we "make a stand" against a hidden enemy? A person organisation that has evolved into a covert unit so difficult to find that the USA have STILL not found the people responsible for 9-11. Do you think that by stopping people's freedom of movement that this instantly stops terrorism? If you do, you are completely deluded.
Your "freedom of movement" policy would also have to be used the other way round too. You will not be allowed to visit any country for any reason. Be it business or pleasure. You MAY be a person.
As for Saddam Hussein. There are well known reasons why Iraq is better out of his hands. He was a dictator with an appalling human rights record. He had WMD's (or did he?) there is oil there. Whichever spin you attempt to put on it, all three were reasons for the Iraq war.
Remember Afghanistan? Bin Laden lived there apparently. However, there was also a nice little sideline about to occur. A fuel line that linked continents. Interesting how the military were also involved in helping to complete that line too.
Do you think they are conspiracy theories? Or do you think that there were ulterior motives in both the Afghanistan and Iraq situations?
I find it quite ironic that the people of these places are acting in exactly the same way as that you are suggesting you want to react?
