Let's get one thing clearabout the Two Ronnies. Now that Ronnie Barker, my old friend and dear showbiz companion for many a long year, is dead, I would like...
Another ten which have gone missing.
1. Getting to the ground without having to see hundreds of red face drunken slobs.
2, Not having to listen to the singing of tone deaf philistines and their stupid anthems.
3. Being able to sit and watch the match like a human being without everyone in front standing up because one of our favourites has, once again, slapped the ball over the bar from 30 yds.
4, Hearing applause for something really special an opponent has done.
5. Not having to to sit and wonder why it is the only sport in the world where the supporters of teams have to be kept separate because of the likelihood of a liquidate or two.
6. Not having to listen to the idiotic, mob brave, illiterate, obscene chantings of the yobs which gives me the answer to number 5.
7, Not having to listen to screamed abuse about every decision against our side who never commit a foul.
8 Not having to hear those loud mouthed experts who know that every injury of an opponent is playacting but all ours are the result of dirty play intended to injure.
9. Not having to put up with support which has turned into fanaticism by people who change into a bunch of screaming, hypocritical, non thinking, ignorant blinkered foul mouthed half wits once they put on a certain coloured shirt.
10. Looking forward to coming to the next match...the biggest loss.
Thank god for Sky.
