My theory for SG is that he believes he should be playing in a team of players at "his" level. So the Galactico scenario should be likely or ACM,Barca perhaps. Arsenal....... maybe. Chelski? Hmmm..... if they had a decent striker or two we might be able to put them up as possible contenders according to my theory.

Look at the list of players, both great and "flavour of the month - great" who have turned down Chelski? FFS..... and SG might join CFC? This is a joke, it will say everything about SG *IF* he joins Chelsea. And should he do so, where does he intend playing? Alongside Lampard(by far his superior over the last two years in terms of consistency)........whom he struggles to play alongside for this country, who bizarrely hasn't won a tenth of the medals as a Chelski player that SG has at LFC. How could that ever be? Some things never change, the relatively low standing of Chelsea in English football history and the fact that LFC simply keep adding to the list of honours that makes them the most successful English club ever.

I'm findng it difficult to believe that the "interesting project" at Stamford Bridge is so tempting.
