No, they didn't. The clearest chance fell to RVN who should have scored instead of lofting it over the bar. For long periods United looked the only side who either wanted to, or had a clue how to, win the game.

It's early days. He should certainly be given another two years. But Mourinho seemed to get the hang of the Premiership in his first few games.
It's just very hard to see how unless Chelsea get 30 points worse, and United get 19 points worse. It's hard to imagine one of those sides getting that much crapper, but both of them, you need a miracle.
