yes, true, not only that, I thought the midweek international would affect a lot of teams, including ourselves. Watching MOTD chris coleman made the same observation.

no one has done that, not even the 3 best teams in the league, they've all looked a little slipshod,even the glorious heaven sent beautiful designer chelsea who escaped with a win last week by the skin of their gleaming white mastercard sponsored teeth.
We made some good chances but failed to convert them today. We played some ropey,sloppy football and some neat quality it's the same old story,inconsistency(from all) the fans are never content, the game is less than perfect, we're still getting our game together. It was exactly the same this time last season an away draw,albeit with goals, we lost the lead iirc(spurs) and a crap game vs Man City at home which we won 2-1. The better performances(by that I mean more entertaining football) came after 4 or 5 games.
I'm reasonably content but would personally prefer something a little more exciting, something to get really enthusiastic about. Lets be honest, it's all little downhill after Istanbul ;-) Sorry.
oh, and I got a text of the pope, he just called me a twat and a cunt and told me to f*** off. see, nothing has changed. --
