That really is the lamest backpeddle I've ever seen on Usenet Simon!
What you fail to grasp Simon is that I didn't 'run along and sort one out for you'. The link was already made months ago, all I had to do was copy and paste it into my post, and what's so funny here is that it actually took YOU longer to suggest that I'd gone to a lot of effort to do this than what it actually took me to provide the link, and it doesn't take a genius to work that out!

What actually took me a little bit of time of course was writing the 'diary' each day, but that wasn't done so I could provide proof of a wind up, if it was I'd have provided the link months ago. The diary was wriiten simply for the benefit of several Evertonians who were in on the joke so that they could all be updated daily as to how stupid I was making you all look. And when I say 'all' Simon, of course mean you primarily, or have you forgotten this:
Yes that was just one of the many posts you sent out relating to the bet. As I remember you and Ted and several more of your kopite mates were running around emailing betting companies all over the place and not one of you suspected you were being led like poodles by me!
We all laughed then and we're still laughing!
Chalk it up!
Bernie The Bolt - 'In those days players weren't as highly paid as now, so most of us had part time jobs. Jimmy Case was a bouncer at the She Club, Tommy Smith used to open supermarkets as a Charles Bronson look-alike and Everton's Alan Ball and I were the voices of Pinky & Perky on TV.'
