Can Cisse play up front by himeslf?
Would you agree that Gonazelez and (old) Kewell are MUCH better for a 4-5-1 than Riise or Garcia or Finnan?
4-2-3-1 is not inherently a bad system. You just need badbutt midfielders that can score, beat defenders, get wide and cross They have to be able to do ALL four - that's why Duff & Robben are just devastating in Chelsea's set-up, and that is why we are stalling out with Garcia, Cisse, and Riise being played on these roles (none of those players can do all four). Any team that effectively plays 4-2-3-1 has those types of players.
Do we still need Simao?
Is Gonzalez a right or a left? I know Zenden used to LIKE playing on the right for Holland as a left-footed player. Odd.
All of a sudden, defense aside, the team is looking not to bad.

The thing about Kewell, is for all his laziness or whatever, he is a legit scoring threat from midfield.
