There is no answer to that. But it isnt relevant is it? You miss the point, but maybe you can explain this paradox which you and others seem to accept?

You've got to hand it to Rafa 936
Yes ,obviously, but some might question where the genius is in replacing players who are not performing, or changing the set up if it isn't working,or...

Please explain why the manager is not responsible for a poor start and the early goals against, but he is if the team improves enough to get through....even more if the sub scores. It seems to suggest that only the team is responsible for poor play and it was a stroke of managerial genius which put it right. It's nonsense, at least it is to anyone who gives it a moments thought.

It would make as much sense to congratulate the 'genius' of the Spurs manager who got his side a 2 goal lead against Leicester but blame only the team for letting in 3 later.

We all know how much part good fortune plays in results and even if a team deserves to win they often don't. Using the final result as proof of anything is a distortion.

the things you say you'll do but never ever get round to
Johnny Fudgemonkey i've just gone all cold.. i could recite the same f***ing story...i got my head in my hands...JESUS f***IGN CHRIST...
Thieving bastard
On 27 December 2005, between 10-11am, a display case was forced open and eight unique match day pennants were stolen from the LFC Museum. This selfish act has robbed us all of the pennants...

Truth is, the manager cannot be held rersponsible for sloppy, untypical defending, but neither can he take the credit for a great goal. These things happen. He is directly responsible for nether.

Maybe the winners of the major Euro Cup should not need should not need such last ditch recoveries against a side like Luton?

So the question stands. If that flat battery, cold and unprepared winter start ,which made the problem, was not the concern of Raffa, then who's job was it to get them onto the pitch ready to do what was needed?

One lucky last second kick off the line by Luton and Pool and the manager would be looking silly right now. But they muddled through, great, but it's certainly not because of genius.
