1. Stubbs is right about there being too much diving in the EPL, and too many players asking for cards. That sort of thing is crap and doesn't belong in football.
2. Other posters are right about Garcia's elbow. He should have been carded because he intentionally hit Kilbane in the face. Kilbane is a git and deserves to be hit in the face now and then, but that's a different matter.
3. Stubbs pinning the blame on foreign players is just idiotic xenophobia of the worst sort. Englishmen can cheat as well as anybody and they do it all the time.
4. And here's my real point, the actual arse in the whole story is the referee, and most o his colleagues. There are too many stupid yellow cards in the game, and there are too many cardable incidents waved away. They miss too many things and punish things that only they can see. There is endemic inconsistency and even outright incompetence amongst referees, and it's ruining the game to the extent that I don't want to watch it any more. I have already stopped watching rugby this year because of bad refereeing, and I'm genuinely on the point of stopping watching football as well.
