If you read today's press (surely you don't), you will notice that most of the reporters agree it was a fantastic game of football. It was also a fantastic comeback. Yes, it wasn't the comeback of the CL-final, and, yes, we were playing a Championship side. But still, it was a great match, a great comeback (from 1-3 to 5-3, if you need a reminder).
I pity you if you don't agree.
Who the f*** claimed we beat Barca?
You make me realize again how much I hate people who extrapolate. "If you'd played like this against Barcelona or Juventus or the national side of Jupiter, you would've been beaten to the ground."
Yes, surely we would. But we didn't. And speaking of perspective: It was a lower side against a Premiership side. Look at the results of yesterday's matches. How many 6-0 or 7-1 or even 4-0 victories do you find? Even a team like Chelsea struggled to beat Huddersfield - and they weren't exactly fielding their U19 players.
"Could"? What's your point? Of course we could - that's why there was a sigh of relief on this ng yesterday. Get it?
We could've lost the CL final 7-0, too. To the enjoyment of new readers: Please remind me how that went, then.
To prove you don't have a point nor a clue.
