You have a habit of making so called 'logical extensions' which are more paranoid or an attempt at making other paranoid.

For instance, take an example.

Voting extended to 18 year olds

When this happened, people could have claimed it would a logical extension to allow 6 month old babies to vote.

As it happens there is some movement to allow 16 year olds to vote, if this happens it will be because there was a debate and it was deemed a good idea, not because at some stage the age was 21 and that reducing it to 18 meant it was inevitable that 16 year olds would inevitably be given the right to vote.

There was no change of rules, there were a set of contradictory set of rules that needed clarifying, in this case it was deemed that the school was ignoring the Convention on Human Rights, it was the school trying to impose their own rules against those that our government had chosen.

Who tried to change something? All that happened was the rules were clarified, our rules allowed someone to wear religious dress in school, the school itself was against these rules.

Is it a logical extension that a school should be allowed to impose the rest penalty on misbehaving pupils it that is what the head and PTA wants?
