Let me explain, then that's me done for a while, fed up of typing ;-)
The muslim clothing at the school may seem a minor concession, but it's seen by some as the thin end of the wedge. With current birth and immigration rates, it is predicted that this country may have a muslim government in 150 years. Maybe, maybe not. Many of us saw the fairly radical muslim on Question Time that said they would not rest until the flag of Islam flew over 10 Downing Street, there's a will to change things, and Britain is targeted due to it's apathy. Now then, take this further, what if that party in power then had a fairly hardline leader. Would you fancy living under an Islamic government? Think any such government in the world, then think of human rights, treatment of women, free speech etc etc. Would such a government be as understanding and tolerant of Christian faith for example, as we currently are of their faiths? Using existing regimes in the world as an example, you'd have to say no. We fall over ourselves to keep minorities happy - stripping crosses out of hospitals or the word Christmas out of anything Christmbutty. This is peculiar to Britain. Sadly, there are Islamic-dominated nations which have adopted a fanatical, militant doctrine of persecution against all ãinfidels.ä Others have large numbers of Muslim extremists that seem to persecute Christians and others at will. In Pakistan, for instance, the government has declared those that who ãinsultä Mohammed will be put to rest.

So, do we have a duty in England to protect our culture and identity - or do we pander to people and risk future generations cursing the diseases of political correctness and apathy ?
