I raised this very point a short while ago.
The original cup is held by Real, since then there have been several replicas, however UEFA allow clubs who have won it just once to commission their own replica to keep in their trophy room, that's why I saw one ot the Nou Camp earlier this year. I buttume Liverpool have one in their trophy room also.
So basically if Liverpool win it and are told they can keep it then all they are getting is a replica. The only difference as I see it between that replica and the replica which is probably already in the Anfield trophy room is that this replica is a UEFA 'commissioned' replica as opposed to a UEFA 'approved' replica. My question therefore is what's all the fuss about then?
Ok if you win it, fair enough, it's an achievment, but to start wanking each other off cos UEFA say you get to keep it sounds like the desperate actions of a bunch of sad tw*ts who have begun to realise that no one will accept they're the best team in Europe even if they beat Milan (which they won't!)
