Crouch needs to work on his finishing. Once he has that sorted he could turn out to be good player. He has aerial ability and has good close ball control which reminds me a bit of Baros. He hasn't got much pace though but i think he would be a good partner for Cisse. His work rate and attitude is exemplary and would be a good squad player especially as he is already used to the hustle and bustle of the Premiership.

As for Nunez, he started of badly but has shown signs of improvement and I will give him the benefit of the doubt due to the injury he had in his first (or second) training session. I think that next season we can judge him properly as he has now settled and had a proper (if short) pre-season.

Josemi turned out to be the opposite of Nunez. He started of well but got worse as the season went on. I think this could be down to confidence but I think you may be right about him. He is a liability in defence as he makes too many rash challenges and his positional sense is awful. Having said that though, Rafa is no mug and he will have identified the problems and I hope he will turn Josemi into a good right-back. If he can turn Traore into a decent player then it is definately possible.

Finally, Pellegrino. He was definately a mistake but be thankful he was only on a 6-month contract. He had the right mentality but was not ready for the Premiership. Being thrown in at the deep for your debut doesn't help either but I hope Rafa learnt his lesson.
