Can anyone think of a really crucial goal he scored? hmmmmmm....... That's harsh. His energy and bustle were admirable qualities I particularly liked his trademark "shoulder bring down" first touch thing, absolute quality that. His game was never the best but I reckon he could have got towards the 20 goal a season mark had he been given the no1 spot.
As it was he managed 27 goals in 109 appearances(43 as sub) The league suited him best 19 from 69(24 as sub)

We are now shut of all the Czechs,Smicer,Berger and finally Baros. They were all a bit gay. I know lots of tarts fancied Berger,no one fancied Smicer,except Bordeaux and Houllier BUT...... we all knew he had one great game in him and so it was......in Istanbul. Baros was the biggest and bast fag imo.
