On the whole, things are very good.
But I don't think we played that well yesterday to be honest. In the first half we were attacking but were not getting the better of Chelsea. For all our attacking play, Chelsea did not seem flustered and always seemed to remain in control. Of course with better luck and strikers, we would perhaps have made better use of the half-chances we created during that period.
I'm glad that theygot the cows off before the kick off. For all their Millions they don't know how to grow grbutt, the...
After they scored their first goal, we began to lose our game. That period saw Chelsea looking impressively disciplined and managed to pace us out with their game plan. They were the ones with better control and shape while we were losing these progressively as the game wore on - and Rafa's tactics for once did not help us much. After our 2nd substitution, the game was effectively lost because by then we were losing too much possession in the midfield area, and without Sissoko to win the balls back for us and also to curb the Chelsea players, we were suffering under Chelsea pressure (and theatrics)
However, while it was a painful loss, I have no doubt whatsoever that Rafa will take all of these on board.
