i.e. they want quality teams in the competition, ie teams who are good enough to finish high enough in their league to qualify. What they clearly don't want is pooty teams too pooe to make 4th place and certainly don't want teams sliding in via a back door, particularly if that back door has been achieved by way of an 11 man defence and winning matches due to proven poor refereeing decisions as opposed to skill.
Just in case you don't comprehend it, all that means UEFA think Liverpool are poo and don't want you near the competition, they want the 4th placed team. Now come on you 'mighty' reds, there's only 2 games left, prove you're not poo, go take4th place!
