but pretty bloody effective. sissoko gave the ball away far too much in the 1st half causing much of the pressure which culminated in everton scoring, albeit the ball was judged to be over the touchline from the cross, i think most of the players thought that as well. then of course they did score, for all their efforts. I never thought a win was in doubt for us and i'm glad it wasn't as fraught as some derbies have been but that was mainly due to everton being so poor and the sending off of Neville,gotta LOL! at that.
Overall we were very much in control against a battling everton side. outpbutting them, out battling them, for the most part, so it's a shame the clean sheets run has gone, lets hope we can build another run because whilst not THE utmost importance it has been the ... ahem... glue upon which the unbeaten run has... well you know what i mean.
What made me laugh was Weir in the tunnel refusing to look gerrard in the eye as SG appeared to want to let on and shake hands. weir looked possessed such was his stare, he is of course by the demon of mediocrity,AKA davie davie moyes.
