Bernie, confirm on here or email to me (both seem to be public anyway) when you have deposited your £1,000. You said you could do it today, so that is what I and the group expect. Once you have deposited your cleared funds, you will get the link to click accept, making the whole thing binding instantly. I particularly like the word "irrevocable".

We do not normally set up private markets, but in this case we can create the market, but not publish it, and send you and the other party to your bet a link to it so you can place your bets before we then offer the market to the rest of our users should they wish to bet among oneanother on it..
Both of you will have to deposit £1,000 each in order to participate in this bet as it is a rule of our website that customers can only bet with cleared funds.
If the other party fails to fully match your bet (they might take less than £1,000 or none of it), you can cancel it and the funds will be returned to your account and you can withdraw them.
Once both parties accept any bet, however, it is irrevocable and the £2,000 will be held by us in escrow until the end of the season when the outcome of the bet becomes known.
The winner will then receive £1,990 (£1,000 winnings less out £10 commission at 1%, plus their original £1,000 stake-money back).
