Supposing I'd been clever enough to keep a day by day record of events regarding this bet and my intentions, just in case someone made this sort of accusation. Supposing this record was stored somewhere on the internet, somewhere where the time and date of the posting was recorded and couldn't be altered. Somewhere like for instance... I don't know... let's say an obscure newsgroup somewhere that gets little traffic.
