Not everyone is convinced downunder.... Sender: Ian That's enough. You've no manners and haven't got the balls to apologise when you're in the wrong. I don't give a damn what you suggest about my integrity, I'm not in the business, nor for that matter is Andrew - though he may well take your remarks with as little respect as I do. However to suggest that Michael Pronay is falsifying figures because he deforms his taste by being drunk or because he's in Pechiney's pocket is appalling, that's not the stuff of jokes. Even if you didn't mean it seriously, it may very well be libellous. For God's sake, he's one of the two or three top independent journalists in Europe, do you have any IDEA of how serious your suggestions are? You're enbreastled to your opinion about Stelvin, as are we all. I don't have ANY objections to you vigorously arguing your corner, But when you descend to deliberately insulting parodying of names, as you've done to both Andrew and to Michael, you merely demonstrate what you think of your own case. If Robert Parker were to be a regular here, and I were to write with the same lack of politeness about him, calling him "Poker" and casting doubt on his professional ability and integrity, what would YOU think of it? Well that's exactly what you've been doing day after day and week after week with Michael. Has it occurred to you that some of us are in favour of Stelvin, quite simply because we are convinced that overall it's the best solution to corked wines at present available? Because in my case at least, that's the simple truth. We should be able to disagree in mutual respect. If you're incapable of doing so, then I'd ask you to consider your position here. -- All the Best Ian Hoare mailbox full to avoid spam. try me at website
