IIRC, you have a vineyard-winery in CA and produce, amongst other varietals, Chardonnay. If this is correct, I have a cousin, who is contemplating entering into the world of vineyard management, winemaking in New Mexico. I have furnished her with many URLs, mainly linking to UC-Davis, and their various programs, plus some other links on winemaking in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. At your convenience, would you please e-mail me: some links, info, that you find particularly relevant to one starting into the business.

This cousin has property, near another winemaking operation in northern New Mexico, and has rounded up some backers. Unfortunately, I do not believe that she knows one whit about either growing grapes, or winemaking. Other than the few mixed cases, that I bring to her inn, when I visit, I'm not even sure that she drinks wine. I believe that most of these bottles are given, or served to her guests. I don't want to "rain on her parade," but would like to point her to some good sources of info, that will either help her to not make major mistakes, or will help her decide, that trout-fishing, horseback riding, and the like, are more lucrative for her property, than would be a vineyard.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request for links. The more info that she has, the better she can decide what she should do on this property.
