When to drink Hello; Two little "gems" aquired at Carrefour (yes, yes, yes, we did!) A Chablis GC Le Clos 2003 and a Coulé de Serrant 1992. I asked about the first one and the guy who manages the wine counters said to drink it now, not wait too long, 2 years tops, then it will be over the hill .... to which I answered merci bien Monsieur and wrote him off as a reliable source of information1. So, let me phrase the question to the NG - when will this start to drink well? 2003 is of course a very special year and nothing is as it should be, but, were I to ask teach at night school he´d tell me to hide ti for 20 or, rather, 30 years, regardless. SAme question for the CdS, really. Mike T treated self and Xina to a '95 which was very good but evidently youngish - I have since tasted a ... 1986? Know I have it written down somewhere - which was equally good but with more maturity. Finding a '92 in a supermarket (in Mulhouse) makes me wonder what may be wrong ...
