Welcome to the group. Wine making is amazingly easy and, compared to other hobbies, amazingly cheap. It will cost you from 50 to 100 dollars for the equipment if you can not beg or borrow it. Generally you can get a starter hardware kit that contain every thing you need for about 65 to 80 dollars. You could buy the individual pieces for about the same price so go with the starter kit.
Then, as Paul suggests, get a wine kit. This is the juice and additives that are needed. Get a good one. Usually a good one, and don't use a cheap one, you do get what you buy, will run about 80 to 100. I suggest a white kit. They are ready younger and that gives you quicker feed back. Some are very good at 2 or 3 months old. The kits are really geared to beginners though they are good enough for experienced makers. I have had good luck with the Johannesburg Riesling and the Gewürztraminer kits. The first is dry, the second is a little sweet. Both are good German style wines.
Also, as Paul suggests, get a good beginners book on winemaking to read while you are making your kit. You do not need to read the book first and the kit will provide very good step-by-step instructions, but the book will enhance your knowledge.
Good luck and hope to hear from you in the future.
